On a recent visit to Nyanya Market, the Makinde/Daura 2027 Daily Mobilisation Team engaged with traders and residents to discuss their concerns and aspirations as the 2027 presidential election approaches.

The campaign aims to listen to the electorate and communicate Makinde’s vision directly, emphasizing that politics is fundamentally about people. The feedback from the market indicated a strong desire for a government that listens and fulfills its promises.

Makinde's campaign, centered around the “Reset Nigeria” agenda, outlines four key focus areas: the economy, education, security, and socio-political development. He has committed to enhancing economic productivity through investments and pursuing reforms in the petroleum sector to ensure citizens benefit from Nigeria's crude resources, while advocating for transparency across the petroleum value chain.
