Makinde Launches 2027 Presidential Campaign Focused on Nigerians

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has declared his intention to run in the 2027 presidential election, emphasizing a campaign centered on prioritizing the interests of Nigerians over political, ethnic, and religious considerations. In his latest newsletter, he described the upcoming campaign as a crucial opportunity for Nigerians to engage in discussions about the nation's challenges and the leadership required for its future.

Makinde intends to visit all six geopolitical zones in Nigeria to meet with stakeholders, present his ideas, and listen to the concerns of citizens, including workers, business owners, farmers, young people, and families. His manifesto, titled "The Reset Agenda," is currently under review by stakeholders and will address significant issues such as security, the economy, cost of living, and food security.

Makinde urged voters to evaluate candidates based on their records, ideas, and capacity to deliver results rather than on slogans or personalities.
