Daura Declares Makinde More Competent Than Rivals

Daura, the APM Vice Presidential candidate, stated that Seyi Makinde is more competent than other presidential candidates, attributing this to Makinde's "unmatched performance" as the governor of Oyo State. He made these remarks while receiving leaders of the Northern Patriotic Front (NPF) at the APM Presidential Campaign Headquarters in Abuja, where they awarded Makinde and expressed their support ahead of the January election.

Daura highlighted that the Makinde/Daura administration would be a four-year all-inclusive, transitional government of national unity aimed at addressing Nigeria's economy, education, security, and socio-political issues. He urged Nigerians to focus on candidates' public service records rather than ethnic sentiments.

Daura also commended the NPF for advocating a people-centered democracy and emphasized the importance of accountability in leadership. Alhaji Ali Abacha, President of the NPF, pledged the support of northern political stakeholders for Makinde's candidacy.
