Dr. Faisal Shuibu Withdraws, Backs Governor's Choice

Dr. Faisal Shuibu, the former Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, has officially withdrawn from the governorship race for Nasarawa State in 2027.

He announced his decision during a press conference in Lafia, expressing his support for Governor Abdullahi Sule's preferred candidate, Senator Ahm Aliyu Wadada. Dr.

Shuibu stated that his decision was made to honor his commitment to Governor Sule, emphasizing the importance of unity and support for the governor's choice. He highlighted that the strength built across the state remains intact and that he is ready to serve alongside Senator Wadada in the journey ahead.

Dr. Shuibu called on the people of Nasarawa State to continue supporting the governor's efforts in building the state, asserting that the development of Nasarawa belongs to everyone and should not pause at any moment.

He expressed gratitude for Governor Sule's stewardship and the transformative work being done in the state.
