NCFront Plans National Dialogue for Electoral Reforms Ahead of 2027

The NCFront is set to organize a national dialogue on electoral reforms ahead of the 2027 elections in Nigeria. Spokesman Mallam Hamisu San Turaki announced the mobilization of Nigerians at home and abroad to drive critical reforms in the country's electoral framework.

The NCFront aims to challenge the ruling APC in the 2023 general elections and beyond by advocating for electoral law reforms to enhance credibility. This decision follows a meeting in Lagos where stakeholders emphasized the urgent need for electoral reform, building on discussions from a recent national constitutional summit.

The focus includes electronic result transmission, criminalizing vote buying, diaspora voting, and proportional representation in government.
