Nigerian Leaders Convene for Electoral Reforms Dialogue Ahead of Independence Day

Former Nigerian leaders, including Goodluck Jonathan, Yemi Osinbajo, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, are set to meet for a national dialogue on electoral reforms ahead of Nigeria's 65th Independence Anniversary. The event will also feature political figures like Peter Obi, Attahiru Jega, and civil society members.

Scheduled for October 1st, the meeting aims to discuss constitutional changes and policy reforms to ensure credible elections. Key government officials and leaders from various sectors will participate in the dialogue organized by the National Consultative Front, Labour Civil Society Front, and Nigeria Electoral Reforms Coalition.

The session seeks to push for electoral reforms for a more transparent electoral process.
