Niger Rescue Movement Backs ADC for 2027 Elections

The Niger Rescue Movement (NRM) has officially aligned with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in a bid to unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in Niger State during the 2027 general elections. Chairman Mikail Bmitosahi announced this decision during a press briefing in Minna, emphasizing that the political group, which comprises members from various parties, aims to work towards a successful campaign.

The NRM believes that the ADC presents a credible platform for new democratic ideas, particularly for the youth, and is committed to addressing critical issues such as security, job creation, quality education, healthcare delivery, and infrastructure. Bmitosahi stated that the NRM will mobilize its structure across all 25 local government areas in Niger State to support the ADC, ensuring that their message reaches every ward, village, and polling unit.

The movement aims to engage in constructive campaigning rather than negative politics, urging citizens to join in building a better future for the children of Niger State.
