ADC Will Not Merge with Other Parties for 2027 Elections

Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), declared that the party will not collapse into existing political parties in order to secure electoral victories in the 2027 elections. Speaking in Ilorin during a gathering to celebrate Eid el-Kabir, Abdullahi welcomed alliances based on political ideologies but stressed that the ADC aims to present credible candidates for various positions, including the state House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, and governorship.

He urged party members to prepare for the upcoming elections and called on Nigerians to rally around the ADC to address the country's challenges, particularly insecurity and economic issues. Abdullahi criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for causing hardship among Nigerians due to its economic policies.

He reassured that the ADC is capable of effecting necessary changes to move Nigeria forward and called for support from the electorate to ensure the party's success in the 2027 polls.
