Olawepo-Hashim Advocates for Strong Leadership in Nigeria

Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, the Presidential candidate of the Accord Party for the 2027 elections, stated that Nigeria's security and economic issues can be resolved through strong political backing and consistent leadership. During an appearance on Channels Television's Politics Today, he discussed his presidential ambitions, national unity, and preparations for the upcoming elections.

Olawepo-Hashim revealed that his political structure has mobilized about one million supporters into the Accord Party. He responded to comments from a governor suggesting that the party would not field a presidential candidate, calling it an overreach and asserting that the presidency is determined by God and the Nigerian people.

He expressed confidence in Nigeria's Defence Forces, citing a recent successful rescue operation in Oyo State as evidence of their capability. Olawepo-Hashim committed to providing a credible alternative for Nigerians, focusing on competence, national unity, economic revival, and inclusive development.
