Nigerians Dislike Tinubu Despite Better Performance, Says Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangel Spiritual Church, stated that Nigerians harbor negative feelings towards President Bola Tinubu, despite his performance being superior to that of former Presidents Muhammadu Buhari and Goodluck Jonathan. Speaking to journalists in Lagos on Sunday, Ayodele expressed that Tinubu has made significant improvements, such as reducing travel time from 18 to 22 hours to Calabar via coastal roads.

However, he warned that Tinubu's chances for a second term in 2027 are bleak unless there is electoral manipulation, as he believes the electorate will not appreciate the efforts of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman, Joash Amupitan. Ayodele emphasized that the 2027 elections will differ from those in 2023, predicting that Nigerians will strongly express their dissatisfaction at the polls, which could hinder Tinubu's re-election efforts.
