NNPP and ADC Form Alliance for 2027 Elections

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has officially confirmed its alliance with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in preparation for the 2027 presidential elections. This announcement was made by Johnson during an interview on Channel Television.

He stated that the NNPP will not field a presidential candidate for the upcoming elections but will participate in the next general elections. The decision comes after several discussions among opposition leaders, including former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, who has recently defected to the ADC.

Johnson emphasized that this alliance will not negatively affect the chances of the NNPP in the forthcoming elections. The confirmation of this alliance marks a significant strategic move in the political landscape as the parties aim to consolidate their efforts against the current administration led by President Bola Tinubu.
