No Automatic Ticket for APC Aspirants in Abia - Kalu

Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Representatives, addressed party leaders and members during a pre-primary stakeholders meeting held in Umuahia. He clarified that there will be no automatic ticket granted to any aspirant seeking electoral positions under the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections.

Kalu emphasized the importance of a transparent and credible primary election process, insisting that the party leadership will not impose candidates. He stated that the wishes of party members should prevail in a democratic process, reinforcing the commitment of the APC to uphold democratic values in its electoral processes.
