Labour Party's Anyaso Promises Fair Elections in Abia

China Anyaso, the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, assured constituents on Sunday that there would be no electoral malpractice in Abia State. Speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting, Anyaso pledged that adequate security would be provided to protect voters and their votes, representing Governor Alex Otti's commitment to free, fair, and credible elections.

He stated, “There will be no rigging of elections anywhere in Abia State come the 2027 general election,” and warned those planning to manipulate results. Anyaso also discussed his extensive experience in business and community service, including building a nursery and primary school for the Ndebende community, providing free education to over 500 children since 2008.

He addressed the zoning agreement from 2019, advocating for the Bende Federal Constituency seat to rotate back to the Bende North bloc after the current occupant, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, completes his tenure. Anyaso dismissed allegations regarding budget allocation controversies and encouraged constituents to support Governor Otti’s vision.
