Umeh: Kwankwaso Unbeatable in Kano for 2027 Elections

Victor Umeh, the lawmaker representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, asserted that Rabi’u Kwankwaso, the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), is unbeatable in Kano State for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Umeh made this declaration during an interview on ‘Politics Today’ on Channels Television, emphasizing that as long as the elections are credible, transparent, free, and fair, Kwankwaso will prevail.

He mentioned his close collaboration with Kwankwaso and other party leaders, stating that the NDC is well-prepared to contest the elections as a credible opposition party. Umeh also referenced the significant turnout for the NDC's Rivers State governorship candidate, Dumo Lulu-Briggs, in Port Harcourt, suggesting that the enthusiasm seen there reflects a strong voting population motivated to support their candidates, including the NDC's presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
