ADC's Kalgo Declares North's Discontent with Tinubu

Idris Kalgo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made a statement on Saturday regarding the political landscape in Northern Nigeria, asserting that the region no longer supports President Bola Tinubu. Kalgo's comments were made during an interview with Trust TV, monitored by Daily Post, as he discussed the ADC's preparations for the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 20, 2027.

He expressed optimism that the ADC would successfully replace the All Progressives Congress (APC) government led by Tinubu. Kalgo emphasized that the people of the North have grown tired of the current administration, indicating a significant shift in political sentiment.

He suggested that investigations and surveys would reveal the extent of this discontent among the populace, highlighting that the North is no longer interested in the appointments made by Tinubu's ministers.
