Obasa Denies Declaring for Lagos Governorship in 2027

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, has refuted claims of openly declaring his intention to run for the Lagos governorship position in 2027. Obasa clarified that he has not made any such declaration and emphasized the need to wait for the party hierarchy to determine his political future.

He highlighted the importance of party discipline and unity within the APC. Obasa stated that his focus is on serving the people and supporting the progress led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He stressed the need to avoid misinterpretations and maintain the party's strength.
