Omo-Agege Announces Senate Bid, Supports Tinubu's Re-election

Ovie Omo-Agege, the former Deputy President of the Senate, has officially declared his candidacy for the Senate in 2027 while also expressing his support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Speaking at a gathering at the Federal Polytechnic in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Omo-Agege highlighted his contributions during his tenure in the 9th National Assembly, particularly in ensuring legislative stability and collaboration with the executive branch.

He called on Nigerians, especially those in the Delta Central Senatorial District, to remain steadfast in their support. Omo-Agege urged party members to prepare for the upcoming primaries, emphasizing the importance of electing representatives who genuinely reflect their interests.

He also discussed significant projects initiated during his time, including the establishment of the Federal Polytechnic in Orogun and the ongoing oil and gas industrial park in Eku Abraka, which he believes will reshape the economic landscape and provide job opportunities for the youth.
