Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Backs Tinubu for 2027 Election

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa announced that the state will deliver significant votes for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. This statement was made on Friday during a meeting with the leadership of the City Boy Movement, a pro-Tinubu political group, at the Governor’s Office in Akure.

Aiyedatiwa, through his Chief Press Secretary Ebenezer Adeniyan, expressed confidence in the support for Tinubu, citing the administration's achievements in infrastructure, job creation, and youth empowerment as key factors that would translate into votes. He emphasized that every positive action taken by his administration contributes to securing votes for Tinubu, stating, “Every action we take that impacts the people positively is a vote for the president.” The governor assured the City Boy Movement and other support groups of his administration's backing for their activities.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government Taiwo Fasoranti, and Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing Abiola Olawoye.
