Igbos in Ondo Endorse Tinubu for Re-election Bid

The Igbo community in Ondo State has officially endorsed the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing his administration's reforms, infrastructure projects, and economic policies as key reasons for their support. This declaration was made during a gathering organized by the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) in Akure, where representatives from all 18 local government areas participated.

Hon. Arinze Okafor, the APC leader of the Igbo community in Ondo, stated that the community believes the reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration require time to mature and should be given a chance to continue. He acknowledged that while some reforms have posed challenges, their long-term benefits are significant.

High Chief Abazie Emmanuel added that the community prioritizes leadership capable of delivering development over ethnic considerations. Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, the GMT Director-General in Ondo, noted that this endorsement reflects the Igbo community's recognition of the achievements of the Tinubu administration.
