Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Pledges Votes for Tinubu 2027

On Friday, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State assured that the state would deliver substantial votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. This assurance was made during a meeting with the leadership of the City Boy Movement, a pro-Tinubu group, at the Governor’s Office in Akure.

The delegation, led by state coordinators Oluwafemi Ayejusunle and Tomide Akinribido, discussed their grassroots mobilization efforts and sought the governor's support. Aiyedatiwa praised the group's commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, declaring the state’s support through the proclamation “Ondo for Tinubu 2027.” He highlighted his administration's achievements in infrastructure, job creation, and empowerment programs as pivotal in garnering support for Tinubu.

Aiyedatiwa committed to backing all groups working for Tinubu's re-election. The meeting included Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government Taiwo Fasoranti, and Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing Abiola Olawoye.
