Al-Makura: Only People Can Endorse Aspirants in APC

Al-Makura disclosed that only the people can endorse aspirants during the APC governorship primary elections in Nasarawa State. He made this statement while leading a campaign team, including former Inspector General of Police Moham Adamu Abubakar, during a visit to the Emir of Lafia.

Al-Makura welcomed the party's decision to adopt direct primaries, asserting that this approach reflects the will of the people and counters any attempts at endorsements for personal purposes. He stated that there should be no consensus or preferential treatment, emphasizing that every vote counts.

Al-Makura expressed confidence in the electoral process and the ability of the APC to triumph in the upcoming primary elections scheduled for Thursday. He noted the widespread support from the people of Nasarawa State and highlighted the importance of stakeholder support in the campaign.
