Opposition Coalition Forms to Challenge APC in 2027 Elections

Lukman, leader of the G-100, issued a statement outlining the committee's commitment to operational principles that promote equality and mutual respect among participating parties. A key decision made was to rotate the chairmanship of coalition meetings in alphabetical order to reflect the coalition's foundational principle of equality.

The committee reviewed the communiqué from the August summit and initiated the implementation of its resolutions, focusing on establishing a Publicity Committee, Legal Committee, and five Working Groups. All parties involved were instructed to submit nominees to the coalition’s secretariat by the end of the workday on September 18.

The committees and working groups are expected to commence operations during the week of September 21 to 27. Additionally, the committee plans to expand the coalition to include other interested opposition parties and will reconvene on September 23 for further discussions.
