PDP Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed Confident for 2027 Elections

Abdulrahman Mohammed, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed strong confidence that the party's candidates will secure victory in all elective positions during the 2027 general elections. This statement was made during a meeting with the National Working Committee and state chairmen in Abuja.

Mohammed emphasized the party's commitment to following its constitution and established procedures, including holding necessary meetings. Despite the PDP's internal crises and divisions that have raised concerns about its electoral prospects, he commended state chairmen for their role in the successful nomination of candidates for various positions, including state Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, and governorship elections.

Mohammed reiterated the leadership's determination to ensure a successful outcome in the elections, which he hopes will mark a new chapter for the party and the nation. Austin Nwachukwu, Chairman of the PDP State Chairmen Forum, assured the National Working Committee of collaboration to achieve victory in the upcoming elections.
