APC Pledges Victory for Candidates in 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared its readiness to secure victory for all its candidates in the 2027 general elections after a three-day strategic retreat held by its national leadership and stakeholders. This retreat concluded on Saturday in Maiduguri, Borno State, during the APC’s 195th National Working Committee meeting.

APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, announced a vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, endorsing them as the party’s presidential candidate and running mate, respectively. Yilwatda emphasized the party's unity and preparedness for the elections, stating that the APC has produced qualified candidates for various elective positions.

The leadership also resolved to enhance reconciliation efforts within the party to address internal disagreements and promote unity among members. Additionally, the National Working Committee will take a more active role in the party's campaign efforts leading up to the elections.
