JUST IN: PDP Will Discipline Wike, Other Members Endorsing Tinubu – South-South Chairman Ogidi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a warning to members, including Governor Nyesom Wike, who openly endorse President Bola Tinubu, stating that they will face disciplinary action. Emmanuel Ogidi, the South-South Chairman of the party, emphasized the importance of discipline for the PDP's survival and success in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

He dismissed claims that the ruling APC influenced the zoning of the PDP's presidential ticket to the South, accusing the APC of attempting to destabilize the region. While reconciliation efforts within the party are ongoing, Ogidi warned that those sabotaging the party will face consequences.

The focus for the PDP is on restoring public trust and unity within the party, with the goal of regaining confidence from Nigerians. Ogidi stressed that the PDP is a party owned by the people, and individuals must work towards the party's success.
