Ayorinde Claims Sabotage Against Governor Makinde

Kunle Ayorinde, a former chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ibadan North East Local Government Area of Oyo State, has alleged that certain individuals are working to sabotage Governor Makinde's reputation. Ayorinde stated that these efforts are aimed at staining the governor's name, particularly in light of his successes since taking office in 2019.

He expressed a desire to discuss these issues with the governor directly. Meanwhile, the Oyo State House of Assembly passed a unanimous resolution reaffirming their support for the executive arm during a plenary session on Wednesday.

Lawmaker Sanjo Adedoyin described the rumors surrounding the governor as baseless and politically motivated distractions. The assembly also dismissed any speculation linking Governor Makinde to Oba Rashidi Ladoja, labeling such claims as misleading and unfounded.
