Kwankwaso Urges Action on Living Costs and Insecurity

Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the NDC vice-presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, commended the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria for their courage in addressing the economic hardships and insecurity affecting the nation. In a statement on social media, Kwankwaso highlighted that the bishops' concerns reflect the daily struggles of Nigerians, including rising living costs, insecurity, and declining public confidence.

He noted that despite Nigeria's wealth in human and natural resources, many citizens face economic hardship, unemployment, and poor access to education and healthcare. Kwankwaso called for urgent, sincere, and people-centered responses from leaders and urged Nigerians to engage constructively with the government to advocate for accountability and better policies.

He emphasized that collective effort and responsible leadership are essential for national progress and concluded with a prayer for Nigeria's blessings.
