Obi-Kwankwaso Movement Launches 59-Member Campaign Council

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement has unveiled a 59-member Presidential Campaign Council in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made in a statement by Saadatu Sani, the National Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, on Thursday.

The council is structured with zonal and state coordinators, as well as directors overseeing mobilization, women affairs, strategy, security, legal affairs, and other essential directorates. John Ughulu, the Director-General of the Movement, will also serve as the Director-General of the Campaign Council.

The council includes coordinators for each of the six geopolitical zones and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The zonal coordinators are Suleiman Abubakar for North Central, Hashimu Dungurawa for North West, Amadu Gwambe for North East, Adebayo Adefolaseye for South West, Christopher Ighodaro for South South, and El-Shaddai Ikeh for South East.

Additionally, Ibrahim Jabir has been appointed as the FCT Coordinator, with other coordinators named for various states including Kogi, Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue, Niger, and Kwara.
