Obi-Kwankwaso Movement Forms 59-Member Campaign Council

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement has announced the formation of a 59-member Presidential Campaign Council to facilitate nationwide mobilization for the 2027 general elections. John Ughulu, the movement's Director-General and founder, will lead the council.

The announcement was made by the movement’s National Secretary, Saadatu Sani. The campaign structure includes zonal and state coordinators, with officials assigned to oversee critical areas of the campaign across the six geopolitical zones, the Federal Capital Territory, and all 36 states.

Key appointments include Suleiman Abubakar for North-Central, Hashimu Dungurawa for North-West, Amadu Gwambe for North-East, Dr Adebayo Adefolaseye for South-West, Christopher Ighodaro for South-South, and El-Shaddai Ikeh for South-East. Additionally, the council has established directorates for specific campaign functions, appointing individuals such as Rev. Mike Agbon for Inter-Ethnic Group in Northern Nigeria and Glory Adayi for Women Affairs, among others.
