Barau Jibrin Empowers Kano North Constituents for 2027

On Thursday, Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, called for unity among the people of Kano North Senatorial District in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 elections. Speaking at the National Assembly to delegations from Dambatta local government area, Barau highlighted his ongoing empowerment programs, which include providing N100,000 monthly start-up capital to 1,300 petty traders.

The delegations, led by Hon. Hafiz Sani Maidaji and Barau’s Senior Legislative Aide Alhaji Abdullahi Dan Bayero, visited to express gratitude for Barau's various projects and initiatives. These initiatives also encompass the distribution of fertilizers, water pumps, grinding machines, sewing machines, motorcycles, and refrigerators.

Barau reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Kano North, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective effort to achieve economic independence for every household in the region.
