Barau Urges APC Aspirants to Unite for 2027 Elections

On Tuesday, Senator Jibrin Barau, the Deputy President of the Senate, called on aspirants who lost in the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 primary elections to accept the outcomes and work towards the party's victory in the upcoming general elections. This appeal was made during the inauguration of the Kano North Senatorial District Campaign Council, attended by APC leaders and supporters.

Barau emphasized the importance of unity within the party, stating that divisions from the primaries could hinder their success. He urged victorious candidates to collaborate with those who did not secure tickets, highlighting that the party's victory is a collective goal.

The campaign council, chaired by Rabiu Bichi, aims to mobilize support across the 13 local government areas of Kano North for President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates. Barau reiterated that the campaign structure is inclusive, involving all stakeholders, and called on council members to engage communities to garner voter support.
