Karimi Advocates for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid

Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has called for support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 presidential election. He argues that continuity is vital for consolidating the gains from the administration's reforms and development programs.

Karimi made this appeal during engagements with stakeholders across Kogi West, urging mobilization for Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). He highlighted infrastructure development, citing significant federal road projects in Kogi State and neighboring areas, such as the Obajana-Kabba-Isanlu-Egbe-Omu Aran-Ilorin and Kabba-Ifaki-Ado Ekiti corridors.

He praised the Federal Executive Council for approving funds for these projects, which he believes will enhance transportation and stimulate economic activities. Karimi acknowledged the economic hardships faced by Nigerians but insisted that the reforms introduced by Tinubu require time to achieve their objectives.

He also emphasized the need for stronger collaboration to tackle insecurity and described Tinubu's re-election as a political priority for Kogi State.
