Galadima Promises Economic Growth for Adamawa Without Federal Funds

Alh. Aminu Tijjani Galadima, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, assured citizens of a prosperous future during the official launch of his election campaign on Wednesday in Yola.

He committed to transforming the state’s fortunes without depending on federal allocations, stating that Adamawa must engage in sufficient economic activities to avoid limited resources. Galadima emphasized his plan to enhance the state’s internally generated revenue to fund projects and build on the achievements of the outgoing Fintiri administration.

He outlined his focus on infrastructure development, agriculture, security, education, youth and women empowerment, health, and poverty reduction. Additionally, he promised to attract investments in the mining sector, promote local processing, and foster public-private partnerships.

Galadima, who previously served as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), vowed to run a transparent and accountable administration that involves citizens in governance.
