APC Women in Lagos Target 1 Million Votes for Tinubu

Mrs. Iyabosola Eletu, the APC women leader in Lagos, announced a commitment to secure one million votes for Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Hamzat, in the upcoming 2027 elections. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on a Friday, Eletu stated that the party's mobilization efforts were already showing positive results across the state.

She has actively engaged with women leaders and visited over five riverine communities in the Ojo/Badagry area to garner support for the APC candidates. Eletu emphasized that their outreach would not be confined to urban areas but would extend to all parts of Lagos.

She praised Tinubu's administration for its achievements, including financial autonomy for local governments, increased federal allocations, and salary adjustments for civil servants. Eletu also noted that Hamzat's extensive experience in governance would be beneficial for the administration of Lagos.
