Daura Endorses Makinde as Top Presidential Candidate for 2027

Alhaji Lawal Daura, the Vice-Presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), has endorsed Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde as the most competent and credible presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. Daura emphasized Makinde's unmatched performance as governor, promising that a Makinde/Daura administration would focus on an all-inclusive, transitional government aimed at resetting Nigeria's economy, education, security, and socio-political landscape.

During an event in Abuja, where leaders of the Northern Patriotic Front presented an award to Makinde, Daura urged Nigerians to prioritize candidates' public service records over ethnic sentiments. He highlighted Makinde's integrity, transparency, and accountability, challenging skeptics to assess his governance achievements.

Daura stressed the importance of leaders being accountable for their management of public resources and contributions to national development, commending the Northern Patriotic Front for advocating a people-centered democracy.
