Lawal Daura Endorses Seyi Makinde as Top Presidential Candidate

Lawal Daura, the vice-presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), has endorsed Seyi Makinde as the most competent presidential candidate, urging Nigerians to assess candidates based on their records. This endorsement occurred during a visit by the Northern Patriotic Front (NPF) to the APM Presidential Campaign Headquarters in Abuja, where Makinde was honored with an award.

Daura highlighted Makinde's achievements as Governor of Oyo State, asserting that he surpasses other candidates in performance, national vision, productivity, and service delivery. He assured that a Makinde/Daura government would be an inclusive, four-year transitional administration focused on addressing issues in the economy, education, security, and politics.

Daura challenged skeptics to consider Makinde's governance record and personal integrity. He also called for voters to prioritize candidates' past performances over ethnic considerations.

NPF President Ali Abacha expressed support for Makinde's candidacy and praised Daura's selection as running mate for his expertise in security.
