Kogi 2027: Akpoti-Uduaghan, Abdullahi Seek PDP Nominations

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the current representative for Kogi Central Senatorial District, and Muhammad Abdullahi, a real estate entrepreneur from Ankpa Local Government Area, have both formally declared their candidacies for the Kogi State senatorial seats in the 2027 general elections. They obtained their nomination forms from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday.

Akpoti-Uduaghan, seeking a second term, expressed her commitment to consolidating progress and empowering communities, highlighting her achievements during her first term, which included infrastructure projects and healthcare initiatives. She assured her constituents of her dedication to transparency and justice.

Meanwhile, Abdullahi emphasized his grassroots political background and his goal to ensure that Kogi East is well represented at the national level. He pledged to prioritize infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and economic growth, calling for unity within the PDP as they approach the elections.
