Shettima and Wife Attend APC Campaign Launch in Kaduna

Vice-President Kashim Shettima and his wife, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima, arrived in Kaduna State for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off for the 2027 general election. This event marks the formal commencement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, taking place at the Kaduna Township Stadium.

The rally is significant as it represents the APC's first major presidential campaign effort, aiming to mobilize support for Tinubu’s second term. The party plans to present its policy priorities under the Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0 and highlight the achievements of the Tinubu administration.

Kaduna is strategically chosen due to its political significance and history of competitive presidential contests. The event is expected to attract numerous party leaders, including the APC's National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari.

Preparations across Kaduna include campaign banners and a solidarity march by pro-Tinubu groups, with security arrangements coordinated by Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe.
