Tinubu and Shettima Launch APC's 2027 Campaign in Kaduna

On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu arrived in Kaduna State for the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress' 2027 presidential campaign. Vice President Kashim Shettima and his wife, Nana, were also present.

Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential aide, noted that the Director-General of the campaign and the APC National Chairman welcomed Tinubu at the airport. The President and First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, were received by Shettima and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.

Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima's Spokesman, stated that party leaders, governors, and supporters were gathering at the Kaduna Township Stadium for the campaign's commencement. The event is significant as it positions Kaduna at the center of the presidential campaign, allowing the APC to present its "Renewed Hope 2.0" plan and highlight the achievements of Tinubu's administration.

Security measures were heightened across Kaduna, with personnel from various security agencies deployed, causing traffic disruptions in the city.
