South-East APC Backs Tinubu for 2027 Re-election Bid

The South-East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election. This announcement was made during a high-level meeting of the APC South-East zonal executive committee held in Abuja.

The meeting, chaired by Ijeomah Arodiogbu, brought together newly elected state party chairmen from Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo, along with key members of the zonal executive committee. The committee released a communiqué affirming its commitment to mobilizing support for Tinubu's second term.

It emphasized the importance of strengthening the party's structure in the South-East and improving its political influence across the region. The communiqué also reiterated the committee's unwavering support for Tinubu's re-election and called on party members to unite and work together to enhance the party's electoral chances in future elections, including the upcoming governorship and state assembly elections.
