North-West APC Backs Tinubu for 2027 Elections

The North-West chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This decision was made during a meeting held on Thursday at the party's secretariat in Kaduna, where the zonal leadership, including Malam Musa Mada and Garba Muhammad, discussed strategies to consolidate the region's electoral dominance.

The North-West has historically been a significant voting bloc, producing the highest number of votes for presidential elections since 1999. The leadership resolved to collaborate with critical stakeholders across the seven states in the region to ensure total victory for the party, including the re-election of Tinubu.

They emphasized the importance of unity within the party to avoid internal divisions and maintain a peaceful atmosphere. The APC also declared readiness to counter misinformation from opposition parties aimed at discrediting the party's governance.

The zonal congress is scheduled for March 25, 2026, as part of the preparations for the upcoming elections.
