Tinubu's Reforms to Secure APC Victory in Oyo by 2027

Dapo Lam-Adesina, a former member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North East and South East Federal Constituency from 2015 to 2019, stated on Monday that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will reclaim Oyo State from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 elections. He emphasized that the reforms implemented by President Bola Tinubu will facilitate this victory.

Lam-Adesina noted that the APC has observed the previous control of the state by the opposition and believes that the party's recent online registration exercise and grassroots mobilization across Oyo's 33 local government areas will ensure success in the upcoming elections. He mentioned that the trend of the opposition holding power for nearly eight years is not favorable and that the APC cannot afford to remain in opposition by 2027.

Lam-Adesina also highlighted the positive impact of Tinubu's governance on local government funding and grassroots development, which he believes will benefit the APC in the next elections.
