Tumsah Secures APC Nomination for Yobe Governorship Race

Kashim Musa Tumsah has officially collected the governorship nomination form for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State, confirming his entry into the race ahead of the party's upcoming primary elections. This announcement was made in a statement released on Friday after he collected the form at the party's secretariat.

Tumsah, who is an international petroleum lawyer, has advocated for transparency and unity within the APC and has urged party members to remain peaceful and abide by the law. He expressed concerns regarding the lack of broader consultation and consensus within the party, stressing the importance of inclusivity and due process.

Tumsah appealed to the APC national leadership in Abuja to remain neutral and vigilant during the primaries, warning that any manipulation could harm the party's credibility. He further called on APC members across Yobe State to be alert in protecting the integrity of the elections, emphasizing that the party's collective interests should take precedence over individual ambitions.
