Sen. Shehu Buba Secures APC Nomination for Bauchi Governorship

On Tuesday, Sen. Shehu Buba, the current representative of the Bauchi South Senatorial District, acquired the governorship nomination form from the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the upcoming 2027 general elections in Bauchi State.

The nomination form cost N50 million. After obtaining the form, Sen.

Buba addressed journalists, expressing his gratitude to God for the opportunity to participate in the electoral process. He called on APC members to seek various electoral positions and emphasized the importance of following due process.

Sen. Buba expressed confidence that the APC would reclaim power in Bauchi State, criticizing the current administration for failing the people.

He vowed to oppose the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and assured that he would be the first person to obtain the nomination form, indicating his determination to secure the APC ticket for the governorship race.
