APC Endorses Chief Emuobo Gbagi for Delta Assembly Seat

On a recent Sunday, Ughelli South APC chieftains convened a stakeholders' meeting in Otu Jeremi, where they unanimously endorsed Chief Emuobo Gbagi as the sole aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly seat representing Ughelli South in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The motion to endorse Gbagi was moved by Olorogun Matthew Ofiguma and seconded by Olorogun Godwin Sito, reflecting extensive consultations among local stakeholders.

The meeting emphasized Gbagi's character, ability, and experience as essential qualifications for representing Ughelli South. Chief Godwin Okporoko, president of the Ughelli South Unit Forum, reiterated the group's commitment to supporting President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The assembly leaders expressed a desire for unity and a single candidate to empower the people of Ughelli South. Criticism was directed at the current lawmaker, Hon.

Festus Utuama, for poor representation, with calls for a focus on welfare and development in the constituency.
