Uzodimma Launches APC Campaign Council for 2027 Elections

On September 16, 2026, Imo State Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, inaugurated the party’s State Campaign Council at the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Convention Centre (EIICC) in Owerri. He charged the council members to campaign across all local government areas, wards, polling units, and communities in Imo State.

The primary mandate of the council is to mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the upcoming 2027 elections. Uzodimma described the APC as a strong political platform focused on socio-economic transformation and urged the council to engage with voters directly in local communities.

He stressed the importance of unity and strategic planning among candidates at all levels. Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, the APC National Vice Chairman for the South East, reiterated the council's responsibility to secure victories in various elections, while Chief Austin Onyedebelu, the Imo State APC Chairman, directed immediate door-to-door mobilization efforts.
