Village Boys Movement Plans Nationwide March for 2026

The Village Boys Movement (VBM) has declared plans for a two-million-man march across Nigeria, set to take place on March 28, 2026. This initiative aims to support the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and counter the City Boys Movement, which is associated with President Bola Tinubu's son, Seyi Tinubu, in his re-election bid.

Maazi Tochukwu Ezeok, the head of the Village Boys Movement, emphasized that the march is part of a phased approach to mobilize citizens for credible leadership in Nigeria. The first phase will occur in states including Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Plateau, Jigawa, Kaduna, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Enugu, Kogi, and Edo.

A second phase will cover the Lagos region, Abuja, Rivers, Delta, Kano, and Imo, with additional dates to be announced. The movement insists on the need for justice, equity, and progress, urging political parties to make the right decisions during this critical time.
