2027: ‘We’ll provide opportunity for youths to lead Nigeria’ – ADC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has pledged to create opportunities for Nigerian youths to take on leadership roles in the country by 2027. The party emphasized the importance of giving young people a stronger voice in governance, promising a 35% affirmative action for youths in both elective and appointed positions within the party.

During a meeting with young members, Interim National Chairman Senator David Mark and ADC National Youth Leader Balarabe Rufai highlighted the party's commitment to prioritizing youth inclusion and pushing for a generational shift in leadership. Senator Mark expressed full support for the youth, stating that a combination of the young and old generations working together is crucial for the country's progress.

The ADC aims to break away from old political habits and provide a platform for young Nigerians to shape the future of the country, ultimately aiming to transfer power to the youth.
