Okpebholo Pledges 2.5 Million Votes for Tinubu in 2027

Edo State Governor Okpebholo has pledged to deliver 2.5 million votes for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. During an inspection of the construction of the ultra-modern Jattu Market in Etsako West Local Government Area, Okpebholo described the project as a significant investment aimed at strengthening commercial activities in Edo North and improving the state's economy.

He dismissed critics questioning the feasibility of securing the promised votes, asserting that the numerous projects undertaken will benefit the people of Edo State. The market is designed to stimulate trade and create economic opportunities for residents and businesses.

Former Edo State Governor Adam Oshiomhole and other officials, including Abubakar Momoh, Minister of Regional Development, were present during the inspection. Oshiomhole recalled the historical significance of the market and emphasized the importance of maintaining high construction standards.

The Jattu Market redevelopment is part of a broader initiative to upgrade major markets across the state.
