Yayi Thanks Tinubu After Ogun APC Endorsement for 2027

Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, thanked President Bola Tinubu and other leaders following his endorsement as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Ogun State in the upcoming 2027 elections. In a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday, Adeola described the endorsement as a humbling honor and pledged his commitment to the party's ideals and the development of Ogun State.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Tinubu for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the progress of the party and the nation. Adeola acknowledged the guidance and support from Governor Dapo Abiodun and elder statesman Segun Osoba, emphasizing their roles in his emergence as the consensus candidate.

He also expressed appreciation to party stakeholders across the state for their backing. The endorsement followed a strategic caucus meeting of the Ogun State chapter of the APC held in Abeokuta, where Adeola was adopted as the party's governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.
